The Philadelphia Union’s home has been renamed

The Philadelphia Union play soccer at PPL Park. Or what was, PPL Park. Now, the soccer stadium located in Chester is called Talen Energy Stadium.

The 18,500 seat venue will be slightly changed and ready to go for its 7th season this upcoming year. It has hosted games with well known teams such as Aston Villa, Celtic, AFC Bournemouth, Stoke City, Crystal Palace, and Everton.

Hopefully the new stadium name jump starts in a new era in Philadelphia Union soccer.
