The Rangers report that that all healthy players took part in this morning’s practice and that Steve Eminger remains off the ice.
…does anyone know what happened to Eminger? I don’t think it’s ever been reported.
Meanwhile, Katie Strang of ESPN NY says that Brandon Dubinsky skated on a line with Brian Boyle and Ruslan Fedotenko.
…surprised to see the hot Dubinsky practicing on a checking line. Assuming this is still punishment for Dubi’s boneheaded defensive play Saturday night. Which I disagree with. Get over it Torts. The guy is finally producing, get him out there with some skill players.
Strang adds that John Tortorella devoted an entire film session to backchecking and odd-man rushes against.
…hope everyone was paying attention.
Finally, Strang noted that Tortorella also admitted that the team is still evaluating personnel, pairings and line combos for playoffs.
…one thing Rangers fans have learned about Torts, is not to get too caught up in line combinations as they are a revolving door with him.
