Practice Notes: No Cally, Del Zotto; Zuccarello In Tomorrow; Richards/Gabby Chemistry

mellonnight

The Rangers report that neither Ryan Callahan (foot) nor Michael Del Zotto (hip) participated in this morning’s practice.

…well that’s not good. With them not practicing today, I’d be shocked if either one of them was in the line-up tomorrow vs. Carolina.

Meanwhile, John Tortorella believes Mats Zuccarello will be back in the line-up tomorrow night, adding this about the Rangers pint-sized forward…

“He is very well liked and respected in that locker room…and he is very creative…it’s a gift he has.”

…after the power play dominance last night, he better be back in the line-up.

Also at practice, Benoit Allaire worked with Henrik Lundqvist (pic via Rangers)…

…with Hank uncharacteristically fighting the puck recently, it’s good to see him get some extra work with Allaire.

…fulling expecting Biron to get the start tomorrow night.

Brad Richards tells Andrew Gross at the Bergen Record that he feels more chemistry with Marian Gaborik now than at the beginning of season and is starting to understand where he’ll be on ice.

…geez, it only took all year.

Finally, Gross reports these lines from practice…

Hagelin-Richards-Gaborik
Anisimov-Stepan-Dubinsky
Fedotenko-Boyle-Prust
Rupp-Mitchell-Zuccarello/Scott
