The Starters (left to right): Cordy Glenn, Richie Incognito, Eric Wood, John Miller, Jordan Mills.
The Backup(s): Seantrel Henderson, Cyrus Kouandjio, Fernando Velasco, Cyril Richardson, Ryan Groy, Chris Martin, Marquis Lucas, Robert Kugler, Justin Renfrow, Jamison Lalk.
The Skinny: If the story of the Bills 2016 season is the move from strength to strength of the offensive line, Bill Polian might need a box of chocolates sent to his house. Yes, his comments on the line being “aging and unathletic” were inaccurate – but as late as last week Eric Wood and Richie Incognito were talking about it:

Getting the top rushing offense to step up their game in passing too, in part because of a better cohesion in protection and reads from their QB can only help. Individually, the left side of the line has established itself. Cordy Glenn, Richie Incognito and Eric Wood’s games spoke for themselves last year. With both Glenn and Incognito potential free agents this off-season, having them re-signed and back in the fold is a boon for Wood as well as Greg Roman. On the right side, the hope is that John Miller can bounce back in his second year as a starter and that whomever takes the right tackle position between Mills, Kouandjio and Henderson be competent. That’s it. Doesn’t have to be crazy good – just competent.
In terms of the backups, Velasco can take the “Urbik” spot of C/G combo and a competition between the rest to fill spots 9-10 will most likely go late into camp.
Who’s Safe: The starting five, Henderson and Velasco seem like locks as it stands now. Following closely behind would be the thus-far disappointing Kouandjio, who has yet to put a complete game together. In the case of Henderson, his illness precludes him from being in the mix early, but by the end of camp he may be back weight and stamina wise to push Mills for the right tackle position.
