Pregame Practice Notes: Same Line-up, Staal Skates & No Torts Tirades (Updated – Wearing White Tonight)

Update, 1:08 p.m.:
Gross reports that the Rangers will be wearing their home whites tonight.

…worst all time move by the NHL was changing home whites to away whites. I always enjoyed seeing the different colors come into MSG. Now all I see is blue and white.

Let’s hope the Rangers have the same result as the last time they wore the whites at home.

Andrew Gross reports that the Rangers will go with the same line-up tonight and Henrik Lundqvist will be back in goal.

Dave Lozo at NHL.com says Marc Staal skated this morning but was moving slow.

…i’m very encouraged that Staal is skating but I’m not expecting him back any time soon.

John Tortorella tells Pat Leonard not to expect any Bruce Boudreau-like tirades on HBO’s 24/7 which begins filming tonight.

…yeah right.
