Three things to ponder

1. Can the Kings turnover a new leaf?

The Sacramento Kings have struggled all preseason long with turnovers.  DeMarcus Cousins has committed 19 over his last two games and he isn’t the only one struggling.  After fumbling away the rock over 24 times against the Spurs, can the Kings figure out how to value the ball before opening the season against the Warriors next week?

2. Who is in the Kings nine or 10 man rotation?

We know who the starters are for the opener – Collison, McLemore, Gay, Thompson and Cousins.  We also know that Ramon Sessions, Nik Stauskas and Carl Landry have reserved spots in the rotation.  Who fills out the rest of the second unit?  Omri Casspi has received minutes over Derrick Williams in preseason, but will that hold when the season tips off?  Where does Reggie Evans and Ryan Hollins fit into this puzzle?

3. Can the Kings finish the preseason on a high note?

Preseason means absolutely nothing.  But that doesn’t mean the Kings should let a Lakers team of Ronnie Price, Wayne Ellington, Wesley Johnson, Carlos Boozer and Robert Sacre beat them.  The Kings are trying to build continuity amongst their rotational players.  The starters should see quality time and the rotation should cut down to nine or 10 players.
