So, you ask, if Brooks, Hinton and Harbaugh are there, where are Marshall Faulk and Eric Dickerson?

Don’t hold your breath.

Irsay said Dickerson has a better chance than Faulk, but neither man is a likely honoree. If the Colts were going to induct them, they would have done it by now.

Maybe some of it is politics, lingering bad blood. Dickerson once famously referred to Jim Irsay as “Daffy Duck.” Faulk left Indianapolis on bad terms after a contract disagreement. Irsay said it has to do with productivity and the length of time each player spent here. That’s a hard argument to sustain when you look up at the ring and see “Jim Harbaugh 1994-97.”

Faulk deserves it.  Dickerson…well, read my book.
