Game Notes: (keep checking back up until tipoff for updates!)
- Green shot around today at morning shootaround and reported that his injured thumb/hand still hurts, but “it’s not broke”, so he’ll play. He also said that the injury was first caused by Channing Frye hitting it in the game against Orlando on Tuesday night, while the rest of his hand was affected when he crashed into a camera man on the baseline after missing a layup.
- “Green said the thumb remained sore and that it still hurts a bit to catch the ball and shoot, but that he would play without protective wrapping…’You’ve got to be precise with everything, so I can’t wear that wrap today,’ said Green, who center Andrew Bogut said would start on defense against New Orleans star Anthony Davis.” — Diamond Leung of the Bay Area News Group
- Green on Davis, from today’s morning shootaround: “No one in the league can challenge those dunks he gets.”
- Bogut wouldn’t take the bait on a reporter’s quip about staring at Davis’ “unibrow” as an advantage: “I’m not giving any bulletin board material before the game.”
- Justin Holiday on facing his brother, Jrue: “I might be the happiest dude that does not play…It’s my brother, but I still want to win.”
