Plenty has changed for Barry Zito in the last twelve months.
From July 6, 2012 through the end of the season, the San Francisco Giants lefty went on a 9-2 run (his team went 13-3 in that stretch) and contributed to a World Series championship run. This season, his Giants are 8-9 in his 17 starts and sitting in last place in the National League West.
And now…there's this.
Zito has been trying feverishly to unload his 7000 square foot, four bedroom, six bathroom mansion since spring last year and, recently, even had to knock close to a cool million off its asking price. But don't feel too bad for the former Cy Young Award winner…Villa Della Pace still sports a hefty $9,775,000 price tag.
