Pro Boxing Returns to DFW on Sept 21, Free General Admission

GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS — Professional Boxing returns to QuikTrip Park in Grand Prairie, on Friday, September 21st when Standing 8 Promotions presents the 5th ANNUAL, TECATE FIGHT NIGHT at QUIKTRIP PARK.

Seven exciting bouts, featuring many of Dallas-Fort Worth’s top prospects, are scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Fans can go to QuikTripPark.com to print off FREE GENERAL ADMISSION tickets, as well as upgrade to half-off reserved seating.

Tickets can also be purchased at the QuikTrip Park Box office, located at QuikTrip Park, home of the Grand Prairie Airhogs minor league baseball club. QuikTrip Park is located between Lone Star Park and Verizon Theatre, off Beltline and I-30 in Grand Prairie.

Shamarian ”Duke” Snider, the 2012 Texas Golden Gloves Heavyweight Champion, will make his professional debut against Dallas’ undefeated (2-0) John Shipman, in a four-round heavyweight contest.

Fort Worth’s Ivan Esparza and Evelio Perez will both be making their professional debut against each other in a four-round Junior Lightweight fight. Two other Fort Worth Jr. Lightweights, Alex Lopez (4-4) and Jesse Rocha (2-1-1), are slated for a head to head, four rounder.

Dallas’ undefeated Jose Rodriguez (5-0), tops the card with a four-round Lightweight battle against veteran DuShaun Williams (4-11 -1), of Galveston). Undefeated San Antonio bantamweight, Adam Lopez (4-0), a 9-time National amateur champion, will take on Amarillo’s Adam Ochoa (2-1-1) in a four-rounder. Two additional matches are to be announced.
