With the NFL season continuing into Week 2 and the Major League Baseball playoff race hitting the final stretch, a number of former Florida State athletes playing professionally had nice weeks, but the former Seminole who was most impressive this week, did his damage on the golf course.

Daniel Berger is the Professio”Nole” Athlete of the Week for the week of September 14th through the 20th after finishing second at the BMW Championship in Lake Forest, Illinois over the weekend.

For the tournament, Berger shot -16. He finished six strokes back of winner Jason Day, but Berger was the top finishing American and shot under par in each of the four rounds.

The solid weekend for Berger marked his sixth top-10 finish of the year and tied for the best finish of his career. Berger ranks 25th on the money list for 2015.
