For the third time this season, Arena Football League wide receiver Greg Carr earns Professio”Nole” Athlete of the Week honors. Carr is the top professional athlete from Florida State for the week of July 28th through August 3rd for his performance on Sunday.
The AFL playoffs were underway this week and against one of the league’s top teams in the Pittsburgh Power, Carr finished with a game-high 10 receptions for 97 yards and four touchdowns while leading the Orlando Predators to a 56-48 victory.
Carr finished sixth in the league with 36 touchdown grabs during the regular season and is a big reason as to why the Predators sit just a victory shy of playing in the ArenaBowl. To get to the league’s title game, Carr and the Predators will have to defeat the Cleveland Gladiators this upcoming weekend in Cleveland.
