For the Buffalo Bills, it has been a very hectic last seven days with last week’s scheduled home game against the New York Jets being moved to Detroit due to weather conditions. For a Buffalo linebacker, who happened to play his collegiate ball at Florida State, it’s been a very good week.
The Professio”Nole” Athlete of the Week for the week of November 24th through the 30th goes to Bills’ linebacker Nigel Bradham for his performances against the New York Jets on Monday night and against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
Bradham was Buffalo’s leading tackler in each game finishing with 10 stops on Monday night and 12 more against Cleveland on Sunday. Over those two games — both Buffalo victories — Bradham also tallied a sack, three tackles for loss and two passes defended.
Two of Bradham’s 10 tackles went for loss in Monday’s 38-3 win over the Jets and on Sunday, Bradham had a game-high 12 tackles and a sack in what would be a 26-10 Bills’ victory.
At 7-5, Buffalo is one of the NFL’s pleasant surprises and the former Florida State linebacker is a big reason why. Bradham now has 85 total tackles on the season and has been an intricate part of a Buffalo defense that ranks in the top 10 in the NFL.
