Prognosticating? Don't mind if we do!
Like this, only with less ND love, less flying spittle, and less general douche-baggery.

I’m pleased to announce a couple new features this year at the Buckeye Battle Cry.

The first is a new weekly article we will be doing to help keep you, our loyal readers, fully informed on the upcoming slate of games going on around the nation.  We will select some number of games from the upcoming weekend that you will likely find of interest and provide all the necessary information so that you can properly prepare your Saturday football viewing rituals.  We’ll also give you a brief rundown of the games and a prediction for how we think the games will go down – you know, because we don’t have a reputation to protect or anything.  Then, following all the exciting action we’ll update the rankings and tell you how we did.

Hopefully we do better than a coin flip.

Of course, we couldn’t do something like this without giving you the opportunity to prove yourself more capable than us in predicting the outcomes!  With that in mind, we have set up a College Football Pick ’em group over at Yahoo Sports.

Join tBBC’s College Pick ’em.

If you want to prove that you have a better sense for the ball games than we do, then come join the fun!  Each week’s top performers will get a shoutout in the weekly post-week rundown, so there’s plenty of fame to be earned!  Even better, the overall winner for the season gets to take home lots of pride, and perhaps a cool prize*!

Games in the articles will be picked straight up whereas in the pick ’em they’ll be against the spread.  We have to save face somewhere, right?  We will be picking the games that Yahoo thinks are interesting, plus all of the Big Ten matchups, so there will be plenty of regional and national love to go around.

Come join us for the party, and may the best prognosticator win!

* If we get our act together.
