Prospal Signs with Columbus

Adam Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch tweets that Vinny Prospal has signed a one-year, $1.75M contract plus bonuses with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

“Very pleased to tell you all that we have signed Vinnie Prospal. He is a top 6 forward to help replace Kristian Huselius.”

…glad to see Vinny get another chance in the NHL. With the Rangers re-signing Feds and bringing in Rupp there was really no room left for Prospal.

…he did an outstanding job working with the kids and brought a youthful enthusiasm to the game that was infectious with the team and the fans.
