Some of you may have noticed me mentioning, on several occasions, the consensus big board rankings by Walter Football. If you’re not familiar with them, they’re a compilation of “well-known big boards, including Mel Kiper’s, Scouts Inc.’s and CBS’.” (Last year, they listed more big boards than that, and I’m not sure which other ones Walter is including this year.) Walter has been updating the consensus big board every Sunday and yesterday’s update may be the final one before the draft commences Thursday night.
In the following recap, I’ve listed players at positions we expect the Titans to be interested in. First will be a recap of the players ranked in the top 32, followed by a breakdown by position.
While all teams will have some players ranked higher, and some lower, than Walter’s consensus, this should give us a fairly reasonable idea of the value each player has as we progress through the draft. Remember, this is a consensus of big board rankings, not a consensus of when players are projected to be drafted.
Some players may be viewed at different positions by different teams. The position I have players listed at is that which they would probably play if they were drafted by the Titans. I have only included players ranked in the top 250 on Walter’s Consensus. If you have wondered where a player you like stacks up against the competition, here you go…

One thing Walter Football didn’t do was to provide these numerical rankings (they used average big board position instead) so I hope this helps you out some both before and during the draft. Please comment if I’ve overlooked something or if you have any questions.
