Tortorella is not sure what tomorrow’s lineup will be but there is a chance Prust will sit.
Jim Cerny adds that there are nights recently where he can’t believe that Brandon Prust has willed himself to play.
…the guy is a warrior but his effectiveness has been hampered due to injury. As much as I’d hate to see him out of the lineup the rest should help him finish strong.
Original Post:
Arthur Staple at Newsday reports that Brandon Prust was the only Ranger not practicing today.
…with Prust so banged up Torts has been giving him maintenance days here and there so expect him in the lineup tomorrow night vs. the Islanders.
With Prust out, Sean Avery is skating on a line with Derek Stepan and Mats Zuccarella.
Here are the rest of the lines…
Prospal-Christensen-Gaborik
Dubinsky-Anisimov-Callahan
Wolski-Boyle-Fedotenko
Avery-Stepan-Zuccarello
…while I’d love to see Avery back in there, no way Torts changes lineups after the big win in San Jose.
