This Saturday, June 23, the North Texas MMA community will band together in the noble goal of helping a family in need.  You may recall our post on the remarkable story regarding two year old Cash Williams who was born with septo-optic dysplasia which left him blind.  Through the miracle of modern medicine, young Cash has been making remarkable strides in regaining some sight, but the cost of such procedures is quite steep.   Saturday afternoon sixteen of DFW’s top MMA fighters and grapplers will engage in a special grappling grand prix in the commendable mission of raising money for Cash and his family to return to China to continue treatment.

Hosted at MetroFlex Gym in Fort Worth in conjunction with Fitness Fight Factory and UFFL MMA, “Fight For Cash” will be a tournament that is sure to give spectators all the high-level grappling awesomeness they could ever hope to witness.  Best of all, all proceeds from the event will go toward helping a brave little warrior live a better life.
