“Bobby is different than any manager I’ve played for or against it seems like in just the way he runs a Spring Training, the way he’s really hands-on in all aspects of the game. Usually managers leave the pitchers alone for the most part. You have your morning meeting and you won’t see them for the rest of the day. He’s different. He likes to get hands on. He likes to make sure everyone’s going to have a good pick-off move coming out of Spring Training and everything like that. I think it’s good. This team needed some more attention to detail.”
