A few things that did not warrant their own post or fit in with Monday’s Misconduct means you get some quick hits!
1. Coyotes will have a pre-season game against the Flames as part of the 2014 Kraft Hockeyville. You can read more about it here. (Wouldn’t it be great if Kraft US did something like this? I bet a lot of rinks would love this.)
2. The Coyotes alumni team will take on the police team in order to raise money for the survivors fund, in memory of Detective Hobbs. The game is April 11th at 6:30 pm at the Ice Den in Scottsdale. More information and how to buy tickets can be found here. (You can watch Tyson Nash on the ice rather than listen to him… That’s a bonus.)
3. Coyotes signed Justin Hache to a three year entry level contract. Hache is a 6’2, 202 pound defenseman. He was drafted by the Coyotes in the 2012 draft. A scant more details here.
4. If you are looking to try and follow the Stars a bit, check out Blackout Dallas and see what the Stars have coming up this week.
5. Coyotes Week ahead:
None of those will be easy. We will need to bring it every single game.
6. Fan appreciation night is, of course, Sunday. All fans will receive a rally towel while a select few will win other prizes throughout the game. Before the game the Coyotes will receive their team awards. As a season ticket holder, a loyal fan, a dedicated blogger, a fantastic photographer and someone who has attended the final games since moving to the valley in 2006, I better get a damn prize. And it better be a good one! 😉
