I’m working on my season review. I had 1,500 words written and then I forgot to re-log in to the back end software and I lost all but the first 100 words, which really sucks because I’ve pretty much burned up my free time for the day and I still have playoff previews to write. I’m working on getting it back together and it will be done today, probably in the early evening. Until then, read Joe Posanski’s writeup about last night amazing finish to the season because it is, as usual, the best thing you’ll read about baseball. If you’ve got time and page views left at the New York Times at this late date in the month, go over to 538 and read Nate Silver’s analysis of just how impossible the Red Sox collapse really was.
