The Celtics have a 3pm tip-off against the Raptors. According to the Herald, Doc will be experimenting with a new combination:
Today’s game will feature a new combination of Pierce, Allen and
Marquis Daniels on the floor at the same time. Daniels will be the
point guard in this configuration.
It will be fun to watch 'Quis play with some of the starters. He still doesn't seem 100-percent comfortable with the offense, but I'm sure he'll come around. The video shows assistant coach Armand Hill working with Daniels during Friday night's practice in Lowell.
Mark Murphy also reports the starters will play extended minutes in today's game and Tuesday in NY. The final preseason game is Wednesday against the Cavaliers. Don't expect the starters to play at all in that game.
After the jump, the only good thing about the Lakers.
