Dear Santa,
This is the Raider Nation. We have been good this year, really we have. We have stayed away from the Stadium, but you have to understand big guy, that we saw some really bad football at the beginning of the year. Yes, we have booed JaMarcus Russell, but he has deserved it.
It has been seven years that we have had coal in our stockings, Santa, and yes we have Silver and Black hearts, but we still have love for our team. We have enjoyed the thrilling victories we have gotten over the Bengals, Steelers, and Broncos. We don’t want to sound greedy, but we are a passionate world-wide fan base, and we deserve more than 5 wins every year. It has been far too long since our team has even sniffed a shot of the post season.Please, Santa, here is our list of what we would like for Christmas this year:
- The website messagetoal.com was successful getting their billboard up. Please convince Mr Al Davis to bring in some front office help.
- Please have Mr. Davis draft football payers, and not athletes.
- When it comes to free agency, please have Mr. Davis go after nuts and bolts players, rather than flash.
- Most of all, Santa, we want to see the Oakland Raiders in the hunt for the playoffs next season. These years of losing are really getting to be too much.
We may not have any milk and cookies for you, but stop by any of our tailgates, and we will have some world class barbeque and plenty of booze for you and your reindeer.
