The NFL released opponents for all of their 32 teams today. The base of each AFC West team’s schedule next season will be against the AFC East and NFC North. In 2010, the AFC West played the AFC South and the NFC West, the two divisions with the least amount of total victories in 2009. It stands to reason that the schedule this year will be harder than the schedule last year for the rising Raiders.
The actual schedule with times and dates will be produced some time in April by the league. However the following teams will be the opponents for the Raiders on that schedule.
Home: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions
Away: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings
Hey, at least they get the Bills and the Lions!
I’ll be back with more on my opinion of the Hue Jackson situation later on, be sure to check back with TFDS for all your Raiders offseason news this year.
