The Oakland Raiders announced that they have yet another new radio flagship station. They will be featured on Live 105 FM and KFRC 1550 AM throughout the Bay Area. The broadcast on the FM dial will be in HD quality for those with HD receivers. KFRC AM, in addition to simulcasting the play by play will also offer extensive pre- and post-game coverage.
Raiders CEO Amy Trask said of the deal, “The Raider Organization is delighted to announce an exciting new relationship with Compass Media Networks, pursuant to which Raider games will be broadcast in the Bay Area on KFRC 1550 AM and KITS Live 105 FM, as well as a broad affiliate network in California and beyond.”
KITS is an iconic modern rock radio station. This partnership pulls them away from the conservative talk radio of KSFO.
Doug Tarville, marketing manager for parent company CBS Radio said, “Adding the Oakland Raiders football games to our lineup is a natural fit and a powerful attraction to LIVE 105’s rock audience and KFRC’s oldies fans. We are thrilled to become even more local in our already successful effort to attract and entertain Bay Area listeners.”
