Really all you need to know about today’s show is that it includes two wrestling references and two horrible impressions.
But if that’s not enough to entice you to listen, then maybe Jay and I enjoying the fact that the Celtics rotation is finally starting to take shape (thanks to health and a couple of perfect players) will. We’re also doing something completely and totally original: Handing out mid-season awards.
From there we get into an All Star discussion about Isaiah Thomas and also, maybe, possibly, Jae Crowder… whether Crowder being sent to Cleveland in a deal for Kevin Love is palatable (this includes the admission that I’d probably be a horrible general manager)… and we lament all the long 2’s the Celtics seem to love taking.
All that plus why Ish Smith might be our new favorite player, I go on a rant about comparing players from different eras, and we warn our rivals about throwing stones at the throne!
