Rajon Rondo tweeted this photograph during his acupuncture session earlier today. He said the procedure helps release spasm and reduce pain.
Meanwhile, ESPN’s Marc Stein unveiled his first power rankings of the season. The Celtics debut at #27 and you’ll never guess who Stein says will be traded:
They have to trade Rajon Rondo. You know it, I know it, everyone in basketball knows it. In the interim, though, hats off to Danny Ainge. By hiring Brad Stevens, he’s found a way to keep the Celts riveting for the Boston die-hards while he’s in the midst of all these tricky rebuilding transactions.
Someone please fill me in. I don’t understand why the Celtics MUST trade Rajon Rondo. He’s 27 and he’s a top 5 point guard.
Is it part of the tanking process? Or is Rondo such an unbearable asshole that he must be shipped out of town?
