Rangers 3, Coyotes 2

-78

The New York Rangers (18-8-4) defeated the Phoenix Coyotes (16-13-3) by the score of 3-2, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

…one thing about the Rangers under Tortorella, they are going to play you hard until the final horn and it has never been so evident as it was tonight.

…Richards continues his quest to make me look like an idiot.

…watching that quick release on Gaborik’s first goal, I never, ever want to see the Rangers sniper deke a goalie on a breakaway or shootout ever again.

…Del Zotto’s offense is officially back.

…Hagelin was noticable on every shift. Which was a good thing.

…nice return to the line-up for Rupp. Mixed it up a little, threw a huge hit and almost scored.

…EC should be waived right after the game.

…if Anisimov (flu) is healthy Tuesday night, there’s really not a spot in the line-up for Avery.

…with the way the Rangers have been losing Top 4 defenseman to injury, Stralman might want to ask Torts to keep him on the third pair. Let’s hope Eminger doesn’t have to miss too much time.

…he didn’t have to be great but again Biron gets the job done.

…after a tough couple of games McD was back to being McD.

…while the power play continues to score, I wouldn’t say it’s looked good lately.

…nice to see the Rangers forecheck re-appear.

…wow, MSG Network is in full Time Warner smear campaign mode.

…off till Tuesday night when the Rangers play the Devils for the first time this season in Newark.
