The New York Rangers (41-15-6) defeated the Carolina Hurricanes (24-27-14) by the score of 3-2, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

…it took the Rangers a little bit to find their game without Captain Cally, but that series of Biron saves in the second period seemed to spark the team and it was business as usually for this hard working, never say die team.

…good to see the November Biron make an appearance.

…who needs Rick Nash when you have Marian Gaborik.

…officially rock bottom for Dubinsky.

…it just can’t be easy for us Rangers fans. First Callahan, now Del Zotto. I was convinced Girardi broke his arm after blocking that shot.

…if Anisimov can somehow harness his immense skill, he has a real opportunity to become a top player in the NHL. Sick goal.

…empty net practice at 9am tomorrow.

…inspiring effort by Staal tonight.

…clutch third period penalty killing by the Blueshirts.

…i know Boyle had a sweet assist on the Prust goal along with some solid work on the penalty kill, but was his performance tonight really Broadway Hat worthy?

…9 of 11 on faceoffs for Richards tonight. At least he did something.

…always love seeing Prust get rewarded for all his hard work.

…having young talent like McD and Stepan on this team puts a smile on my face every day.

…you think Scott even took a shower after this one? 4:48 of ice time.

…right back at it tomorrow night in Tampa.
