Rangers 3, Maple Leafs 0

The New York Rangers (28-10-4) defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs (22-17-5) by the score of 3-0, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

…awesome to see the Rangers channel their anger from Thursday’s loss into a complete effort on the ice. They came out very physical, hitting anything in a blue jersey. And when the forecheck got going in the second period it was all Rangers from there. And I was worried about this game.

…Richards was the big free agent signing, but Rupp is proving to be a real important addition to this team on and off the ice.

…so who had the more relieved goal celebration this season, Boyle or Dubinsky? Nice to see the big guy get on the scoring sheet. Was impressed with his physical play as well. Would like to see more of that from Boyle.

…not only is Biron stopping everything that comes at him, he’s now become a play maker back there.

…Richards is now pointless in the three games since being dumped by Olivia Munn.

…have I mentioned the power play is awful.

…man, you have to keep your head up when Phaneuf is on the ice. No sloppy seconds for Boyle or AA after those hits.

…you know your defense was stellar when Kessel and Lupul combine for zero shots on goal. McD a +3.

…nice bounceback for AA, who probably had his most active game in weeks.

…after slumping a bit, Stepan now has four points (2g, 2a) in the last five games.

…any chance Avery gets called up for tomorrow night’s game with Dubi on the shelf and Fedotenko leaving the game early with back spasms? I didn’t think so either.

…right back at it tomorrow night in Montreal.
