Rangers 3, Sabres 2, OT

-1

The New York Rangers (39-15-6) defeated the Buffalo Sabres (27-27-8) by the score of 3-2 in overtime, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

…hey Sather, cancel that press conference and call Columbus back, we don’t need Nash we have Captain Cally.

…don’t get me wrong, the Rangers were far from perfect tonight, but as has been the case all year they find a way to win. Team chemistry matters.

…Cally-Richards-Hagelin played like they didn’t want Nash as a teammate. Unreal tonight.

…loving Gabby with that backhand shot in tight he’s displayed the last two nights.

…Prust fights to open the game and the Rangers win. What else is new? Not sure why he doesn’t do that more often.

…Academy Award winning performance by Del Zotto faking a hip injury so he won’t be traded to Blue Jackets.

…not sure how Kaleta isn’t challenged by Bickel or Rupp after what he did to Hagelin.

…is there a player who needs the trade deadline to pass more than Dubinsky? Guy’s playing like it’s weighing on his mind.

…it’s not like he’s playing poorly, but Girardi’s game seems to be slipping. I guess that’s what happens when you play 30+ minutes a night.

…tough night for Staal who was turned every which way on Stafford’s first goal and then lets the Buffalo forward get behind him on his second. And then the icing on the cake is the cross bar he hits late in third.

…off tomorrow then Devils cross the river Monday night.
