Rangers 3, Wild 2

-6

The New York Rangers (48-21-7) defeated the Minnesota Wild (31-35-10) by the score of 3-2, tonight. For a box score and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.

…similar to the Maple Leafs game, I’d like to see the Rangers put away a struggling team better than this, but hey two points are two points and with the Penguins losing to the Islanders last night the win was that much more important.

…in the last week or so Boyle might be playing better than he did last season and that’s because he’s finally using that big body of his.

…there’s a lot to complain about when it comes to Fedotenko, but this is the time of year when he knows how to earn his money.

…Richards to Gaborik where were you all year? I feel like we were jipped as we’re only now seeing how great they can be together.

…good to see Girardi back to being Girardi. His defensive partner wasn’t too bad either.

…o’fer the power play since Zuccarello went down.

…one of the few times I’ll root for an opponent to score, as I was hoping to see Ortmeyer get one last night.

…penalty kill actually made the power play look good.

…is it me or does the Rangers team just look better when Stralman’s in the line-up?

…good to see EC being EC in a uniform other than the Rangers.

…step forward in the Maple Leafs game, step back last night for Staal.

…right back at it tonight in Winnipeg.
