G. Scott Thomas at The Business Journals analyzed all 30 NHL teams, searching for the franchises that have disappointed their fans most consistently and has ranked them in order with the Rangers landing at #10.
The Rangers were placed at #10 because they have zero Stanley Cups, Stanely Cup appearance and Conference Finals appearances in the last 10 years. Also factored in was the Rangers only appearing in two Conference Semi-Finals in the last 10 years and not winning a Cup in the last 16.
…and I actually blog about this team? I know things have been better lately, but looking at these numbers makes you wonder how Sather still has a job.
…at least the Islanders were ranked #2.
