Tonight, the Tweet of the Moment regarded a 5 on 3 in the battle of New York, as the Islanders wen two down against the Rangers in the final minute. Ironically, on the scoreboard, it was the Rangers who were down 2, on their way to losing the game, unable to score twice in 30 seconds. They had a couple of other important losses as well.

Earlier in the affair, they lost the revived Rick Nash to a groin injury in the second period, while Matt Puempel suffered a concussion in the first. It’s the Rangers who find themselves in first place with the Islanders looking up at the rest of the Metro, but a heavy loss for the Rangers and a big rivalry win for the Isles might be just enough to start turning the tide for both teams.
