Yesterday MSG announced that the Rangers will be increasing ticket prices by 9.5% next year in the upper bowl seats.
For 2012-13, the seating configuration in the upper bowl of MSG will be completely transformed. The upper bowl will offer larger, more comfortable seating and significantly improved sightlines as the incline for the upper bowl will increase 17 degrees, moving fans seven to 10 feet, or nearly three rows, closer to the action.
Since I’m so infuriated with MSG’s latest move to price out the real fan, I figured I’d let you guys comment on the increase…

@TheNYRBlog The NHL still hasn't learned from the lockout? I'd rather fill an arena w/ cheap tix than have a 1/2 empty one w/ rich "fans."

@TheNYRBlog Sad part is win or lose the real fan will always be there, not the faker. #greedy
