Rangers Paying Attention to Standings

“Now, once you get down to 20-25 games left, you obviously pay a little bit more attention to them,” Staal said. “It’s hard not to when it’s tight like this every year. Since I’ve been here it’s been so tight. You know what the big games are, but now every point is huge, they all count. It’s that time of the year again.”

…when the players start paying attention to the standings you know the games are going to start becoming more and more intense. Really looking forward to another stretch run from the Rangers. Doesn’t get much more exciting than a handful of teams fighting for the final two or three playoff spots.
