Joe Yerdon at Pro Hockey Talk says this about the Rangers in his season preview…
“The Rangers have things in place to be a very good team. They should absolutely be a playoff team and stressing out at the end of the season shouldn’t happen again this year. As long as Richards and Gaborik stay healthy and keep their offense rolling, they’ll be a tougher team to handle. Their forward roster is deep and while there’s questions on their defense still, Lundqvist makes it all stand up. The question for New York is just how they can manage as a playoff team.”
…the Rangers better make the playoffs. Actually they better do more than just make the playoffs. When you add Brad Richards to a team that already has Marian Gaborik and Henirk Lundqvist just making the playoffs isn’t good enough anymore. Nothing but a run for a Cup is acceptable in my opinion.
