On basketball’s biggest stage, the Raps stunk it up.
This was by far the ugliest game to date from the Raptors, and the Raptors have had their fair share of ugly games. I gave the Raptors a break in their last game against the Cavs because a) they didn’t have Bosh, b) they had new players in their rotation and c) it was Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the Raps had no excuse tonight except that they showed no effort at all against New York.
If you checked in midway in the fourth quarter you would see this. Marcus Banks, Roko Ukic, Jason Kapono, Nathan Jawai and Patrick O’Bryant on the floor for the Raps. That’s how bad it was. O’Bryant, Jawai and Banks have scored 92 points combined this season. That’s like an average of 0.5 ppg.
