The Toronto Raptors continue their hot start collecting their 5th straight win to begin the season (setting a new franchise best), earning a 103-98 road win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. DeMar DeRozan lead the way with 28 points, including 10 in the 4th quarter.

The Raptors held off the Thunder’s NBA All-Stars, Kevin Durant & Russell Wesbrook, who posted 27 points & 22 points respectively. Westbrook did a fantastic job distributing the ball for his team, collecting 16 assists in the process.

Raptors back up point guard Cory Joseph played 25 minutes, and as you can see by the tweets below – he played when it mattered most, and his impact was undeniable:

Toronto didn’t shoot the ball well from the field (42% on 33-79 shooting), but they attacked the rim and got to the free throw line; which proved to be a difference maker. As a team they converted 32 of 39 free throw attempts. DeMar DeRozan was a big part of that, as he made 14 of his 15 attempts, showing his aggressiveness in getting to the rim.

The road trip continues for Toronto, now having won on the road on back-to-back nights. They travel to Orlando to face the Magic on Friday night, and on to Miami on Sunday to face the Heat.
