Raptors upset Thunder; first team to beat OKC at home this season

The Toronto Raptors handed one of the NBA's best, the Oklahoma City Thunder, their first home loss of the season, with a determined and hard fought 104-98 win.

5 Raptors posted double digit scoring, with Kyle Lowry scoring a team high 22 points, while dishing out 9 assists. Amir Johnson had a double-double, scoring 17 points and pulling down 13 rebounds.

Meanwhile Russell Westbrook led the way for the Thunder with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Kevin Durant had 24 points and 8 rebounds. No other Thunder player scored in double digits.

With the win the Raptors have now taken over 1st place in the Atlantic Division and are currently in 4th place in the Eastern Conference!

This is the first time that the Toronto Raptors an above .500 record on the road since 2002! The Raptors' overall record is now 11-14, winning 2 in a row, and 5 of their last 7 games.

It's now time to move on as the 3rd game of the Raptors' 4 game road trip is Monday night, December 23rd (the 2nd of a back-to-back). They will face another tough opponent in the San Antonio Spurs.
