The Toronto Raptors were on the road for a playoff game for the first time in 6 seasons, and were looking for their first road playoff win in 13 years! Given everything that has happened leading up to Friday night’s game, the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn was not going to be a hospitable environment for Toronto.
In Game 3, The Raptors had their fewest number of turnovers so far in this series, with 17, but the Nets still won that statistical battle and only committed 11 turnovers themselves in the game. The Raptors found themselves down as many as 15 points in the 4th quarter, but they refused to lay down. The Raptors fought back and got the lead down to 1, but in the end they didn’t have quite enough gas left in the tank, losing in a valiant effort, 102-98.
Toronto will look to tie the series at 2 games a piece in Game 4, which tips off on Sunday April 27th at 7pm ET.
