Rasheed Wallace scored 29 points and Rajon Rondo tallied his 3rd career regular season triple double as the Celtics beat the Raptors 114-107.
Rajon Rondo was brilliant yet again. His stat line – 22 points, 13 assists, 10 rebounds and 4 steals.
Wallace was 9-12 from the field, 5-7 from 3FG, with 7 rebounds.
The Raptors cut the lead to 108-104 with 1:28 left, but Kendrick Perkins (16 points, 4 blocks) corralled a missed Wallace three pointer, got fouled and made two free throws. A steal by Sheed and a jumper by Paul Pierce (16 points) iced the game.
The Celtics rushed out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back. They lead wire to wire.
Eddie House (11 points) was the only bench player to provide a spark. Glen Davis had 6 rebounds in 16 minutes.
Ray Allen was sporting a band-aid on his nose. Ray suffered a small cut when he was hit in the face by a ball vs Atlanta.
Chris Bosh lead all scorers with 31 points and 13 rebounds. Andrea Bargnani chipped in 23 points.
"I had a decent night, I guess," – Rajon Rondo
