The New York Knicks are reportedly interested in adding the 38-year-old Rasheed Wallace to their already seasoned roster.

According to multiple sources, Wallace was not in very good shape when he worked out with the Knicks last week.

Wallace, who played a huge role in helping the Detroit Pistons win the NBA championship in 2004, has a connection with the Knicks head coach, Mike Woodson because they worked in Detroit together, sources said.

Reports also show that the retired 6-foot-11 center has a connection with the Knicks assistant general manager Allan Houston as well, as they both are sharing the same agent in Bill Strickland.

It is yet to be known if New York will sign Wallace to a contract, but the interest is definitely present.
