Update from the Dick:
WEEI’s Celtics color analyst Cedric Maxwell told Comcast SportsNet’s Mike Felger that he expects KG to play in SA tonight.
Update from Spears:
"Kevin looked good," Celtic coach Doc Rivers said after a morning shootaround at the AT&T Center. "We'll have to wait and see. He got here an hour early and we put him through a ton of drills and then we went longer in the shootaround. We'll judge it from there but it's very doubtful. The best-case scenario is 15-20 minutes tops.
"The good news is if he plays it won't hurt him. He is going to keep getting better and better."
Garnett said he felt "all right; it will be a game-time decision," but declined interviews after the training session.
Garnett, smiling and appearing to be in great spirits, added: "It's great to see all of you."
Allen also trained before the team went through a one-hour workout and said his condition has improved greatly since he was injured in a 127-121 loss at Chicago Tuesday.
KG and Ray Allen considered "gametime decisions" for tonight's tilt in San Antonio.
