It's 7:30 pm and I've tuned into watch the Real Training Camp live stream of the Boston Celtics scrimmage. In half an hour, I've seen about 4 or 5 plays in their entirety. The rest has been 2 shots of Cedric Maxwell and Andrea Aldridge… 2 minute long cutaways of guys on the bench when Aldridge and Max were talking about them… and replays of things that happened last year.
I don't know who's directing this crap, but here's a memo: I'm logging on to watch my team scrimmage and learn a few things about how they're working together. I'm not tuning in to watch 2 minutes of Paul Pierce sitting on the bench. And I'm CERTAINLY not turning in to watch Max and Aldridge talk while guys are playing ball behind them.
Now at 7:34, the game is over. Thanks NBA TV. You've shown me absolutely nothing. I had two dopes telling me everything I already knew. You didn't show me basketball. You didn't show me anything.
This entire thing sucked beyond suck. It was a horrible waste of my time. They even had Paul Pierce and Ray Allen mic'd up and I didn't hear them say more than two words.
Just a crappy, crappy, crappy broadcast. Horrible. I feel bad for hyping it up. Ugh.
