I don't care about the Cavs comeback from a 22-point deficit in the 3rd quarter. Two plays defined this game.
Kevin Garnett's turnaround jumper with 1:04 remaining that stretched the lead to 4. And twenty seconds later, Jermaine O'Neal stuffed Anderson Varejao to preserve that lead.
The Celtics were outscored 32-17 in the 4th quarter. The energy disparity between the two teams was disturbing. The Cavs were extremely aggressive on defense while the Celtics stood around and look at one another.
I hope this Celtics team realizes it's no where near good enough to "flip the switch" during games.
As I type this, Tommy Heinsohn is ranting about boxing out. Anderson Varejao (20 points, 20 rebounds) destroyed the Celtics, yet again.
This was my first time watching Cavs rookie Kyrie Irving. The kid has mad skills.
