The Celtics woke the Orlando Magic from their playoff slumber with a punch to the face. The Celtics played an impressive physical style of defense reminiscent of the 1980s.
Rasheed Wallace (13 points, 2 rebounds) is my star of the game. He played fantastic defense against Dwight Howard (13 points on 3-10 FG). Kudos to Perk and Big Baby, too.
Paul Pierce (22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists) and Ray Allen (25 points, 7 rebounds) were the offensive stars.
I bet 99% of the analysts say the Magic can't play any worse and almost pulled it out. But the same holds true for the Celtics, at least offensively. They shot just 44% (to Orlando's 41%) and had 15 TOs (to Orlando's 18 TOs). Rondo and KG combined for 16 points – It's safe to say they both under-performed.
