Recruiting Bell: Joey O’Connor

Windsor, CO product Joey O’Connor (4 stars on Rivals and ESPN, 3 stars on Scout) was being highly recruited by many teams across the country, but today he selected Penn State as his new home for four years.  O’Connor’s best attributes are believed to be his non-stop motor and foot speed.  In fact, the 6’5″, 285 pound athlete had to make another commitment – one to football – as he was also one of the top hockey players in the state of Colorado.

With three OL/DL commitments in the past week, it seems as though the staff will only be taking two more: one DT and Noah Spence.
