Today begins the Mayor’s Cup 2011…with the first game of the Grapefruit League for the Sox as they kick if off against the Twins. If you don’t know what the Mayor’s Cup is…it’s a little side competition between the Sox and Twins in Spring Training. Both teams play in Fort Myers…and play each other 5 times. Whichever team takes their series…wins the Mayor’s Cup.
