The Red Sox have claimed pitcher Matt Fox from the Twins off of waivers. More on Fox from the Star Tribune:
the Twins added Fox to their 40-man roster and gave him a spot start against the Rangers on Friday.
Pitching on three day’s rest after getting promoted from Class AAA Rochester, Fox held the Rangers to two runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings. He received a no decision, as the Twins came back to win 4-3.
